Hello & Welcome

Hello and welcome to Howlite Therapy’s blog page written by me, Lorraine Ballintine founder and counsellor for Howlite Therapy.  This first blog entry explains the areas of interest I’ll be exploring in future blogs.

Having never written a blog before my intention is not to rewrite mental health narrative but to contribute to discussions regarding current mental health research, guidance, training and practice.  I like to think this will be of interest to my readers and will increase my knowledge, skills and reflective practice as well as giving my readers food for thought.

I will also be writing about my counselling practice journey by commenting on subjects that interest me.  Therefore, as well as emotional wellness and mental health I’ll be writhing about things such as the arts and general health along with emerging trends in these fields.
